Run to the forest, jump around the trees and then run back to the village. How hard can it be? It’ll be as hard as you want it to be. This is a great race for beginners and experts alike. Whether you’re trying your first off-road run or you’re getting fit for one of Doctor Rob’s Trionium specials or you’ve temporarily gone mad and entered the toughmudder then this is a great race for you.

Register at the Chiddingfold Football Club off Coxcombe Lane and find your start time:

  • 09:40 – group 1
  • 10:00 – group 2
  • 10:20 – group 3

It’s about a 5 minute walk down to the start where you’ll get a safety briefing which will be very brief. Then you’re off and running along bridle paths, tiny roads and forest tracks until you get to Fowlsehatch Copse. Grab a drink at the drinks station and jump around the trees and obstacles before getting back onto the trail home. On the way home there’s a little diversion around Frillinghurst woord to ensure that you’re not trampled by runners on the way out and then you’re on the home straight to the finish on the football pitch.

If you can’t remember all that then don’t worry because the route is marked by hundreds of little yellow arrows. We’ve run 2 test events and no-one has ever got lost or been eaten by squirrels.

If you’ve got any questions then contact us. If you want to give the race a shot then you can enter online and we’ll see you in November. All racers get some breakfast, a T shirt and a goody to commemorate being in the first run-forest-run
